I collected some information about the japanese, american and german voice actors of Yamato Ishida.

Transformers: Cybertron - Fang Wolf & Mole Dive

Since I finally had a chance to listen to his original voice in the actual series, I now feel in the position to make up my mind about him and his performance. So, well... in fact, I wasn't too impressed.

It might be simply due to the sound of his voice (that I - admittedly - found to be a little unfitting) or the fact I got too used to the dub I'm familiar with, but personally I actually prefer his german voice.

Although I won't say that he's doing bad voice acting, because he probably isn't (yet it's rather hard to judge due to my very influent Japanese). It's just his voice in itself that kind of bugs me...

Michael Reisz
Name: Michael Reisz
Birthplace: Los Angeles, California

Other Roles:
Cowboy Bebop: Tengoku no Tobira - Murata
Digimon Frontier - Takuya Kanbara
.Hack//LIMINALITY - Satou Ichirou
Just Friends - Mark
Lord of the Rings: Fellowship of the Ring - Legolas Greenleaf
Metropolis - Rock
Mummy: Animated Series - Colin Weasler
Naruto - Mizuki
Transformers: Robots in Disguise - Landfill & Wedge

Again, I've only seen one episode of the american dubbed version. However, that was kind of a horrible experience - I mean, I'm quite used to bad dubs from Germany, too (although the Digimon one was rather good in my opinion), but that felt exceptionally strange. Maybe it's because I'm used to the german dub, gut I didn't really find his voice fitting for Matt, nor did I like his voice acting that much.

I have to admit, though, that I've listened to a part of Yama's english image song and it seemed okay to me; at least nothing to complain about.

Robin Kahnmayer
Name: Robin Kahnmayer

Charmed - Kyle Brody
Chrno Crusade - Joshua
Dragonball Z - Son-Gohan (adult)
Flint Hammerhead - Merlock

The Tribe - Bray

Xiaolin Showdown - Clay
Yu-Gi-Oh! - Joey Wheeler
Yuki Kaze - James Bukhar

The only voice actor I have more than info about *cough* As I stated before, the german dub turned out quite well in my opinion. Some voices may sound weird/unfitting, but that's a usual circumstance one has to deal with and there are lots or worse examples. But I digress.

Personally, I like Robin's voice somehow - although I haven't heard him a lot (or he spoke characters I didn't particularly like; as for instance Bray from The Tribe) I think he was a good choice for Yamato and all in all did a good job.

Unfortunately I wasn't able to find much information about him... not even a picture or where he is from.
