Why Digimon?

Hmm... why do I like Digimon? That's not easy to answer. I'm pretty aware of the fact that it's actually not much more than a fairly commercial show mix from Pokémon and Jura Tripper which is supposed to appeal to younger kids.

Maybe I like it just because the concept works for me, I don't know. What I know is that I find some of the characters sympathetic and although the story might not be all that new, I think it's interesting to see the characters develop and grow within it.

I know there are much "deeper" or better developed characters out there - sure. But I'm probably just too shallow-minded to get those anyway and need somehting superficial like Digimon in order to feel comfortable... in other words: I have no idea why I especially like Digimon.

Why Yamato?

Hm. Another question to answer (I hope someone reads this?). What I presume is that I like him because he is more than he seems to at first. He's one of the most developed characters of the first season, I guess, so he's got plenty of different "layers" (well, in relation, you know).

He's also the character I can relate to the most (if any), for I at least have the feeling we have something in common (though it's, in fact, not very probable).

When I saw Yamato for the first time, I knew he's the character to attract (the) fangirls... but I wasn't really impressed by that, although it might not seem this way now (haha). I'm not usually into the "girls' character".

Why a Clique?

The clique is a relict from the time I wondered whom Yamato may love and thought it was cool to have a clique about it. However, my opinion has changed since and now I find cliques rather useless; the only reason I haven't deleted it is because it actually got some members.
